Youth Art Project at Mayfield Village Hall- click here
Friday nights at Mayfield Village Hall are now filled with creativity, colour, and over 100 young people coming together to make art, build friendships, and grow in confidence.
Thanks to generous funding Mayfield received from Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland, Happy Days Arts is delivering a vibrant youth art project designed to support young people in a safe, welcoming environment over 20weeks.
The sessions focus on building confidence, resilience, and self-expression, giving young people the opportunity to explore creativity while developing important life skills. Through painting, mixed media, and collaborative projects, participants are encouraged to try new things, support one another, and take pride in what they create.
Beyond art, the project provides a positive space where young people can relax, connect, and feel part of their community. For many, Friday night art has become something to look forward to — a place where they feel valued, heard, and inspired.
We are proud to partner with Mayfield Community Association to deliver this programme and grateful for the funding that makes it possible.
Together, we are nurturing creativity, strengthening resilience, and empowering young people to believe in themselves and their potential.
