Art Uplift for Teens – Creativity, Confidence and Connection
Our Art Uplift for Teens programme has been a fantastic journey of creativity, growth and connection for young people aged 13–17. Delivered in a small, supportive groups over 3 seperate days a week to ensure everyone is included, the programme provided a welcoming space where participants could relax, express themselves and try new creative skills.
Across the workshops, young people explored a range of art forms including painting, clay, monoprinting and textiles. Guided by experienced artists, they were encouraged to experiment, build confidence and develop their own unique style – all at their own pace and in a pressure-free environment.
What stood out most was not only the incredible talent in the room, but the friendships formed, the conversations shared and the sense of belonging that grew week by week. It has been inspiring to see participants become more confident, engaged and willing to express themselves through their work.
We are incredibly grateful to the Asda Foundation Young Futures funding for making this programme possible, allowing us to provide meaningful creative opportunities for young people in our community.
