Art Uplift for Teens – A Space to Create, Connect and Grow - click here to see more
We're delighted to introduce starting April 13th 2026, Art Uplift for Teens, a creative wellbeing programme designed especially for young people aged 13–17. In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming, this programme offers a calm, supportive space where young people can slow down, express themselves, and build confidence through creativity.
Across a series of relaxed, small-group sessions, participants will explore a range of art forms including painting, clay, monoprint and sewing. The focus isn't on perfection or prior experience – it's about enjoying the process, trying something new, and connecting with others in a friendly and encouraging environment.
We are incredibly grateful to the Asda Foundation for supporting this programme through their Young Futures fund, helping us make these creative opportunities accessible to young people in our community.
Whether a young person is naturally creative or just curious to give it a go, Art Uplift for Teens is about helping them feel seen, supported, and inspired
What a lovely start to our Art Uplift for Teens programme tonightWe had a small group of young people who completely amazed us with their creativity. From the minute they arrived, they were chatting, asking questions and really getting stuck in – it was so great to see such a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
A huge thank you to our amazing artist Sandra Kerr, who led the session so beautifully – keeping everything calm, easy to follow and enjoyable for everyone. And of course to our wonderful volunteer Kasia, who was on hand supporting throughout and making sure everyone felt at ease.Big thank you to @asda.westwoodcommunity
These are the moments we love 💛
